Master Sergeant Jack P. Sizemore was the NCOIC at MCAS Cherry Point from 28 Feb 05 until beginning terminal leave on 4 Nov 07. He was officially retired from the Marine Corps on 31 Dec 07.

MSgt Sizemore has completed the following courses of study: NCO leadership school, Sgt non-resident program, Sergeant course, SNCO career non-resident program, SNCO advanced non-resident course, SNCO academy, Instructors basic course, War fighting skills program.

MSgt Sizemore’s decorations include: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with two gold stars, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Meritorious Unit Citation, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal with four bronze stars, National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with bronze star, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, Meritorious Mast and multiple letters of commendation and appreciation.

He is currently a Range Controller at the newly formed Range Operations Center (ROC) at MCAS Cherry Point.
