Graduating from Air Traffic Control school in June of 2004, his first duty station was MCAS Futenma in Okinawa, Japan where he qualified on Clearance Delivery, Flight Data, and Final Control from Kadena AFB. In 2006 he transferred to MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina for duty with MACS-2 Det A and deployed to Iraq twice. He was part of the 2007 Marine Mobile Team to Ar Ramadi and then returned to Al Taqaddum, Iraq in 2008 as an Approach and Arrival Controller.
During his assignment to MCAS Cherry Point and was rated throughout the facility.
He continues to strive for excellence in all areas of the Marine Corps and Air Traffic Control. Training Marines
both young and old is a task he holds at the highest level. He is a pure killing machine and if one hinders his
mission accomplishment, he will destroy them.
